Tracks, Replay and Logbook

NavimetriX records your track as soon as Navigation mode is active, trip by trip. This chapter explains how to display it, organize it, import or export it, replay it on the chart with the instruments and the weather of the time, keep your logbook and share it with a simple link. It also explains how tracks follow your account from one device to another.

  • Record and Display the Track Beginner

The track records itself in Navigation mode. Here is how it starts, stops, is configured and is displayed on the chart.

  • Organize Your Tracks Expert

Archive folders to lighten the list, deleting one or more tracks, the 30-day local trash and backup in .nx format.

  • Import and Export Tracks Expert

Import GPX or .nx tracks, NMEA 0183 logs or Adrena tracks, and export one or more trips as .nx or GPX, up to Strava.

  • Replay Beginner

Replay a trip on the chart: playback, speed set by the zoom, timeline, dials and AIS targets of the time, that day's weather and curves of the recorded values.

  • Logbook Expert

Each track carries its logbook: eleven categories of dated and positioned entries, periodic positions, automatic entry on man overboard, kept versions and PDF export.

  • Share a Track Beginner

A link is all it takes: the recipient replays your trip and reads its logbook in their browser, with no account and no installation. During navigation, the same link shows the boat live.

  • Track Sync Beginner

With a Premium account, all your tracks go up to the account: the same list on every device, logbook and folders included, and a trip in progress on another device can be followed live.
