Yes. As soon as you are signed in to your NavimetriX account, all your tracks go up to the account, older ones and imported GPX files included, and every device signed in to the same account shows the same list.
What follows the account
- the track itself and its Replay data;
- its name: rename it on the Mac, it is renamed on the iPhone;
- the eye (track shown or hidden on the chart) and its colour;
- the logbook and its entries, written at sea or during a Replay;
- the archive folders and the filing of the tracks;
- the Replay playback settings, remembered per track.
While syncing, the Tracks panel shows a status line ("sending n chunks", "fetching a track from your account", "a track is on its way from another device…") with a progress bar. It goes away by itself when idle.
A trip under way on another device
The trip your tablet is recording on board shows up right away in the list of the computer left at home, marked Ongoing, and opens LIVE: the boat moves in real time on the chart, with live gauges.
Switching accounts
If you sign out and sign in with another account, the app fetches that account's tracks and removes the previous account's tracks from the device (they stay on their account, and their files go through the local trash). A banner shows the sync progress (settings, list, tracks, upload) during the switch. Tracks recorded without an account are adopted by the first account that signs in.
Without a connection
Everything is offline-first: the track is recorded on the device, the logbook fills up, and the upload to the account happens as soon as the network is back. Nothing waits for the connection.
