How to follow the Route du Rhum 2026?

NavimetriX race tracking shows the whole Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2026 fleet on the chart (117 boats, all classes), with each boat's track since the start in Saint-Malo. The positions come from the organizer's reports, published every hour.

1. Download the race file

RDR26_NavimetriX.dcc

Make sure you use this file. It holds the list of boats and the address of the position server, ready to use. NavimetriX does not read the password stored in the RDR26.dcc file made for Adrena.

On iPhone and iPad, tap the link then “Download”: the file goes to the Files app, Downloads folder. On Android, Mac and PC, it goes to the Downloads folder.

2. Import it in NavimetriX

  1. Open the Settings (“‹” handle on the right edge of the screen), then Race tracking.
  2. In Race file, tap Import and choose RDR26_NavimetriX.dcc.
  3. In Position reports, tap Download. The server address, username and password are already filled in: leave them as they are.
  4. Turn on Auto download and set Download every to 60 min: the organizer publishes one report per hour, and new positions arrive on their own.

Then open the Race tab of the left panel (“›” handle on the left edge): the fleet appears on the chart. To see a single class, type its name in the filter field: ULTIM, IMOCA, OCEAN50, CLASS40, VINTAGE MONO or VINTAGE MULTI.

Only one race is loaded at a time: the Route du Rhum replaces the race already loaded, if there is one.

Already imported the RDR26.dcc made for Adrena?

The simplest is to import RDR26_NavimetriX.dcc, which replaces the race. You can also fix the fields by hand, in Position reports:

  • FTP or HTTP URL: ftp://178.170.113.156/Archives_posreports
Without /Archives_posreports, only the last position of each boat arrives.
  • Username: rdr26_skippers
  • Password: 3-5Jzt6:el56

A second server publishes the same reports, with the same credentials:
ftp://213.246.39.169/Archives_posreports

These credentials are taken from the Sailing Instructions of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2026 (§ 5.5.1), freely available on the race website: Espace skippers, “Drive skipper” section.

3. The ranking (optional)

To rank the boats by remaining distance to the finish, create a route in the Routes tab that follows the course to Pointe-à-Pitre. In Settings > Race tracking > Rankings, choose this route in Route:, then enter the start: 1 November 2026 at 12:00 UTC.
